As a Foundation, Cronasia Foundation, College, Inc., is envisioned to be the center of enriching indigenous culture in Southern Mindanao, that
indicates cultural, racial and gender bases, promotes respect in religious beliefs and an avenue for the development of teacher’s field of
expertise in providing excellent and accessible academic instruction, producing productive professional, who instill national pride while

instructions for academic excellence while providing accessible and conducive among the Filipino youth in their pursuance responsible and
competent professionals.
Course Description:
This course deals with the teachers to acquire the skills for authentic assessment, teach beyond test scores, help eliminate
the stigma of assessment and grades, and develop in themselves and in their future students the importance of focusing on
learning first before grades. The course is intended for the students to go beyond the “mile-wide-inch-deep” teaching-learning for
meaningful mastery of targeted learning outcomes, with teacher’s facilitating skills.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES: At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate understanding of the principles of high quality assessment in conceptualizing, organizing, and using authentic assessment
techniques in various curriculum teaching areas;
2. Demonstrates skills in designing, developing and using learner-appropriate performance-based, product-based, and affective assessment
tools in monitoring and evaluating learner progress and achievement in various curriculum areas;
3. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of providing timely, accurate and constructive feedback to improve learner performance;
4. Demonstrate familiarity with various strategies for communicating authentic learning results;
5. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of assessment data as feedback in teaching and learning practices and programs and;
6. Demonstrate an understanding of how professional reflection on assessment feedback can be used to improve practice.

PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
The student’s responsibility is to come to each class prepared. She is also expected to take all examinations on the date scheduled. She is
expected to attend each class and participate actively in the discussions.
ACADEMIC DISHONESTY:
All students are expected to be academically honest. Cheating, lying and other forms of immoral and unethical behavior will not be tolerated.
Any student found guilty of cheating in examinations or plagiarism in submitted course requirements will (at a minimum) receive an F or failure
in the course requirement or in the course. Plagiarism and cheating refer to the use of unauthorized books, notes or otherwise securing help in
a test; copying tests, assignments, reports or term papers; representing the work of another person as one’s own; collaborating without
authority, with another student during an examination or in preparing academic work; signing another student’s name on an attendance sheet;
or otherwise practicing scholastic dishonesty.
POLICY on ABSENCES:
The allowed number of absences for students enrolled in a 3-hour class held once a week is a maximum of 3 absences - based on student
handbook. Request for excused absences or waiver of absences must be presented upon reporting back to class. Special examinations will be
allowed only in special cases, such as prolonged illness. It is the responsibility of the student to monitor her own tardy incidents and absences
that might be accumulated leading to a grade of “FA.” It is also her responsibility to consult with the teacher, chair or dean should her case be
of special nature.

3. COURSE RULES
Using cellular phones must be turned OFF during class hour. This includes instant messages and auditory
warnings.
Performing tasks which is not related to the lesson is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

4. REQUIREMENTS
Pass all the requirements.
No 80 and below grades for Prelim, Midterm, Semi- Final & Finals
Never be absent.
