2024

Annotations:
Objective 2: Used research -based knowledge and principles of teaching and learning to enhance professional
practice (learning objective)

Part 1: Objectives
 The teacher has used bloom’s taxonomy in writing learning objectives. Based on the Cognitive Process
Dimensions adapted from Anderson & Krathwol (2001), it provides a scheme for classifying educational goals,
objectives and standards. It also defies a broad range of cognitive processes from basic to complex.

Objective 2: Used research -based knowledge and principles of teaching and learning to enhance professional
practice (instructional activities)
 Students were able to put parts together by using a “concept map” which help the students organize new
information and to make meaningful connections between the main idea and other information. It also develops
students’ metacognitive skills which was introduced by Novac and Musonda (1991).
 The teacher gave a task to the students which is a sentence completion. Based on the sentence completion
activity which introduced by Hermann Ebbinghaus (1897), it is a versatile way to assess the students’ learning in
terms of grammatical structures and vocabulary.

Objective 2: Used research -based knowledge and principles of teaching and learning to enhance professional
practice (assessment/evaluation)
DAILY LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE 7 2023-
2024

 The teacher gave a multiple-choice test to measure the most important educational outcomes- knowledge,
understanding, judgement of the students. This type of test is the most applicable and useful type of objective test
items. With respect to the multiple- choice format in particular, numerous laboratory studies have shown that
taking multiple - choice test is beneficial for learning ( for review see Marsh, Roediger, Bjork, & Bjork, 2007)

ANNOTATIONS:

Objective 16: Applied a personal philosophy of teaching that is learner- centered (learning objectives)

Part 1. Objectives
 The teacher’s objective was problem-based learning (PBL). It is the constructivism philosophy of
teaching that is learner- centered. The goal of the teacher was to develop motivated and independent
learners effectively equipped with learning skills in performing different group activities especially in
identifying the types and parts of a wave.

Objective 16: Applied a personal philosophy of teaching that is learner- centered (instructional
activities)
Explain and Explore
 In this cooperative and collaborative learning, students worked together in small groups to maximize
their own and other’s learning. Again, the teacher used the constructivism philosophy of teaching that is
learner- centered.
DAILY LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE 7 2023-
2024

Objective 16: Applied a personal philosophy of teaching that is learner- centered (assessment)
Evaluation
 In this assessment, learners built a strong emphasis on knowledge, understanding, judgement and
critical thinking. The teacher used the progressivism philosophy of teaching which is learner- centered.
