In a research paper, the methodology section allows the researcher to critically evaluate a study's overall validity and reliability Oris a way to systematically solve a research problem or a science of studying how research is, done scientifically it comprises the various steps adopted by the researcher in studying the research problem along with the logic behind them so it incumbent that the researcher must know. ‘The researcher methods or ‘techniques but also the methodology which will infer how to develop certain indices or test to compute i.e. the mean, the mode median or standard deviation or others and how to apply particular research techniques and also which of those methods or techniques are relevant in particular work as well as the outcome that will indicate the assumptions underlying each of the various techniques and criteria d) Research title This is the statement on the cover of the report and it is a statement that summarizes the main idea or ideas of a study or the research with the fewest possible words that adequately describe the contents and or purpose of the research To come up with a research title the following steps are necessary in formulating it, they are: ‘The researcher must single out or identify the problem to study in the area of his/her area of study and interest or an aspect of a subject matter that the researcher would like to inquire into ‘The researcher must look into the feasibility ofa particular solution that he/she considered before a working formulation of the problem is setup ‘The researcher may need to discuss with colleagues or one with expertise knowledge in the field The researcher must also examine existing literature in the topic to get himself/herself acquainted with the problem The literature review undertaken by the researcher must include both conceptual that gives the theory and concept as well as the empirical consisting of studies carried earlier in similar areas as such review will help fill knowledge gap as to what data and other materials are available which may enable the researcher to specify his /her own research problem in a meaningful context After extensive literature review the researcher should put the problem into a specific term as clearly as possible Research problem statement A research problem statement is a concise description or statement of an issue to be addressed or studied or a condition to be improved upon it identifies the gap between the current state and desired goals state.it is a processes that focuses on the facts and it gives a clear statement that the problem exists and evidence that support the existence of the problem it helps to contextualize and to understand the significance of the study d) Research objectives When carrying out a research work the researcher must be able to states the objectives of the research and research objective(s) is the statements stating the objectives that will be stated depending on the nature of the research. A researcher can use an objective or hypothesis to help clearly define what's to be done to answer the question or task set in the title ‘The research objectives are divided into two a) Main objective b) Specific objectives * Research main objective is a statement that describe in broad terms what is to be carried out to achieve what's stated in the title "Research specific objectives are the particular measureable tasks that when carried out will make the main objective to be achieved specific objectives may be one or two in number
