Inorder to fulfil the damage stability requirements for cargo ships according to SOLAS 74(90/91) II 1 / B-1 / Reg.25 (SURCAP), following requirements have to be obeyed for sea condition: Keel draught less than 5.90m ; Minimum GM fluid = 0.42 m Keel draught 5.90m : Minimum GM fluid = 0.42 m Keel draught 8.20m : Minimum GM fluid = 0.35 m Minimum GM fluid for intermediate draughts to be interpolated linear. 2, Items as spare propellers/ blades, contents of lub. oil circulating tank as well as lashing ‘material are not included in the Light ship weight. 3, Heeling moments for tanks Transverse centres of gravity are stated in the tank tables for the full tank in column T.C.G. The transverse heeling moment is calculated by multiplying of the weight con- cemed with the corresponding transverse centre of gravity. If the weight is located on portside, the transverse moment is negative. For the starboard side the transverse moment is positive. Addition of all transverse moments and dividing this sum by the corresponding displacement gives the transverse centre of gravity for this particular loading condition. This heeling lever is stated as T.C.G. resp. CGY in the results box of the loading condi- tions laid down in this booklet. 4, Loading conditions in this booklet are prepared according IMO Resolution A.749(18) adopted on 4 November 1993 except icing. Loading conditions with icing are shown in a separate booklet as they differ from loading conditions stated here. The stability calcula- tions have been carried out with the NAPA computer programme. The results of strength calculations carried out with the same programme are shown in the separate LOADING MANUAL. 5. All hydrostatic data have been calculated by using the fixed trim method 6. All data are calculated. They are not guaranteed. 7. All loading conditions shown in this booklet are calculated without shifting of cargo. All cargo has to be safely secured against shifting. 8. In any loading condition the strength limits permitted by Germanischer Lloyd (see next page) must not be exceeded. For doing this, the loading computer which is installed on board is to be used. To use these factors, first calculate the logitudinal centre of ‘gravity (L.C.G.) fwd. of AP for the given displacement. Then read the L.C.B. from the table of hydrostatics for the particular displacement and calculate the trim lever (TL). TL=LCB.-LCG. TRA z ‘Multiplying the trimfactor aft by TL gives the change of-draught aft and multi- plying the trimfactor fwd. by TDygives the change of draught forward. .[Neue Brand Werft GmbH & Co KG D- 26135 OldenburgBRAND Hugo MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VESSEL: Length betw. perpendiculars 119.12 m Breadth, moulded 18.60 m Design draught 8.18 m X-coond. of after perpendicular 0.00 m X-coord. of reference point 59.56 m X-coord. of midship section 59.56 m X-coord. of building frame 0 0.00 m mite TS, Of kealplate 0.019 m Mean thickness of shell plating 0.012 m 1.025 ton/na Calculations are based on STABHULL date 95-06-13 time 7.15 X-coord. of aft end of DNL -3.78 m X-coord, of fore end of Dib 119.00 m parts: ‘STABHULLF 7932.9 M3 950120 18 SECTIONS ‘STABHULIM 2415.7 M3 940923 0 SECTIONS ‘STABHULLA 8179.4 M3 950613 9 SECTIONS ‘POOP 818.1 13 950613 14 SECTIONS ae 393.5 M3. 950310 9 SECTIONS KEL 274.1 M3 950202 0 SECTIONS REZ 867.563 950202 0 SECTIONS UOKE3 (33 950202 0 SECTIONS BUCH 71.0 M3 950613 59.
