Description:

This project was meant to integrate the legacy systems of Hertz (Rent a CAR), Dollar, Thrifty
and Firefly. The other existing systems were sunset and all the business logic was to be
integrated to Hertz Custom Application. As a developer in this project, I was involved in
analyzing the existing systems and then write new programs as well as modify the existing
programs so as to integrate the whole data which was coming from different applications in
different formats and then modify the data as per Hertz standard format, which was further
being passed to Global Accounts Receivable for billing and then it was passed to other
downstream applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

 Understanding and drilling down to the details of the business requirements for Impact
Analysis
 Locate the proper business functionality from the code and documentation.
 Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing.
 Solving the abends being support.
 Fix the coding and discussion with onsite peoples as per client requirement.
 Understanding and modifying DB2 quires.
