As part of our project, I have provided support for multiple file transfer applications like IBM sterling B2B
integrator, Seeburger BIS and other HSBC in-house applications like HSBC connect, net etc.

Through investigation of any file transfer failure for both inbound and outbound files dealing with multiple
commercial customers in the market.
The different kinds of files that were dealt during my work in this project and payments,
acknowledgements, statements and various other weekly/monthly reports depending on the client’s
requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Analyzing batch job or online transaction to add company core logic


 Preparing the Overrides for instant fix
 Written new program as per Detail Design Document
 Involving code retrieval and code changes according to design.

Project Description:

Discover bank is the largest bank and financial group in USA, with significant banking operations in limited
countries.
Discover Financial Services is an American financial services company that owns and operates Discover
Bank it was founded in 1985 and renamed Discover Bank on August 1,2000. It is an online bank that offers
checking and savings accounts,personal loans,home equity loans and credit cards.Discover card is the third
largest credit card brand in the United States, when measured by cards in force, with nearly 50 million
cardholders.
The credit card system in discover bank is if the customer’s card is expired they provide the same card
number with different expiry date.

Responsibilities:

● Coding the program according to the technical specifications following the coding standards of the client
● Preparing change request in Service now ticketing tool.
● Impact analysis and code changes/developing of Programs.
● JCL changes and preparing test jobs.
● Preparing/changes in Jobs/procedures as per client requirement.
● Created GDG base, VSAM files and knowledge on IBM Utilities like SORT, IEBGENER, IDCAMS etc.
● Preparing the program specification document and coding accordingly.

Project Description:

Insurance Repository captures KYC data, converts the policies into electronic mode, protects them and takes care
of your ongoing servicing needs of policy holders.

The insurance Repositories provide facility for online payment of premiums by the policyholders’ and
payouts(claims) by the insurers and handle several other servicing needs.

Responsibilities:
 Participate in Project meeting, interacts with clients
 Creating CHANGE tickets and RITMS for issues
 Checking the Alerts like, transactions issues and missing pricing and resolved.
 Preparing DCR as based on clint requirements
 Ensuring that all the work meets the quality requirements
 Prepared the documentation required for production movement
