Parent Teacher Conference (PTC) is an important way for teachers and parents to learn
more about students’ profile and provide feedback to families about students’ academic
performance. Family members play an important role to the life of the learners in guiding and
nurturing towards his/her success. Parent-Teacher Conference provides support to deepen
family engagement, leverage families as assets for teaching and learning, and develop a
shared understanding of the steps needed for the student to make academic progress.
Fortune Elementary School conducted its Second Quarter PTC and Releasing of
Report Card for School Year 2022-2023 last February 18, 2023. The program started at 8:30 in
the morning where the parents and teachers gathered at the school ground for a plenary
session with the leadership of our Principal, Ma’am Sherly Ann D. Hernandez together with the
Master Teachers of FES. We were also pleased that the said meeting was attended by our
PSDS-SDO-Marikina, Dr. Nida P. Andrada, and Congresswoman Maan Teodero who delivered
an ispirational message to our dear parents and guardians.
During my advisory class in Grade Two – Masikaso. The conference started 10: 30 in
the morning. Due to its limited time, we started right away with our discussion on some
important agenda that needed to be addressed.
The agenda that were discussed on the said Program were as follows:
