Kagalanggalang na katipunan ng mga Anak ng
Bayan

• KKK is a secret society stablished with the purpose of uniting the Filipinos and
fighting the Spanish government during the Spaniards colonization.
Katipunan
The Katipunan was a Philippine revolutionary society founded by
anti-Spanish Filipinos in Manila in 1892, whose primary aim was to
gain independence from Spain through revolution. The society was
initiated by Filipino patriots Andrés Bonifacio, Teodoro Plata,
Ladislao Diwa, and others on the night of July 7, when Filipino
writer José Rizal was to be banished to Dapitan. Initially, the
Katipunan was a secret organization until its discovery in 1896 that
led to the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution.

Andrés Bonifacio led the secret society,
Katipunan, whose goal was to create an
independent Philippines. The group was
unprepared militarily to take on Spain when
it began to revolt in response to the Spanish
execution of key leaders and priests.
Moral

every Katipunero. to unite Filipinos into
one solid nation; to win Philippine
independence by means of an armed
conflict (or revolution);
Civic
The objectives of the Katipunan as brotherhood
were threefold: political, moral and civic. They
advocated for freedom from Spain to be achieved
through armed struggle. They also saw it as their
responsibility to help the poor and the oppressed,
teach them good manners, hygiene and morality.

Ang kabuhayang hindi ginugugol sa isang malaki at banal na kadahilanan ay kahoy na


walang lilim, kundi damong makamandang.

Ang gawang magaling na nagbubuhat sa pagpipita sa sarili, at hindi talagang nasa
gumawa ng kagalingan, ay di kabaitan.

Ang tunay na kabanalan ay ang pagkakawang-gawa, ang pagibig sa kapwa at ang
isukat ang bawat kilos, gawa’t pangungusap sa talagang katuwiran.

Maitim man at maputi ang kulay ng balat, lahat ng tao’y magkakapantay;
mangyayaring ang isa’y higitan sa dunong, sa yaman, sa ganda…, ngunit di
mahihigitan sa pagkatao.

Ang may mataas na kalooban inuuna ang puri sa pagpipita sa sarili; ang may hamak
na kalooban, inuuna ang pagpipita sa sarili sa puri.

Sa taong may hiya, salita’y panunumpa.
To the honorable man, his word is sacred.

Huwag mong sayangin ang panahon: ang yamang nawala’y mangyayaring
magbabalik; ngunit panahong nagdaan na’y di na muli pang magdadaan.

Ipagtanggol mo ang inaapi; kabakahin ang umaapi.

Ang taong matalino’y ang may pag-iingat sa bawat sasabihin, at matutong ipaglihim
ang dapat ipaglihim.

Sa daang matinik ng kabuhayan, lalaki ay siyang patugot ng asawa’t mga anak; kung
ang umaakay ay tungo sa sama, ang pagtutunguhan ng inaakay ay kasamaan din.

Ang babae ay huwag mong tingnang isang bagay na libangan lamang, kundi isang
katuwang at karamay sa mga kahirapan nitong kabuhayan; gamitan mo ng buong
pagpipitagan ang kaniyang kahinaan, at alalahanin ang inang pinagbuhatan at nagiwi
sa iyong kasanggulan.

Ang hindi mo ibig na gawin sa asawa mo, anak at kapatid, ay huwag mong gagawin sa
asawa, anak at kapatid ng iba.

Ang kamahalan ng tao’y wala sa pagkahari, wala sa tangos ng ilong at puti ng mukha,
wala sa pagkaparing kahalili ng Diyos, wala sa mataas na kalagayan sa balat ng lupa;
wagas at tunay na mahal na tao, kahit laking gubat at walang nababatid kundi ang
sariling wika, yaon may magandang asal, may isang pangungusap, may dangal at puri;
yaon di nagpapaapi’t di nakikiapi; yaong marunong magdamdam at marunong
lumingap sa bayang tinubuan.

Paglaganap ng mga aral na ito at maningning na sumikat ang araw ng mahal na
Kalayaan dito sa kaabaabang Sangkapuluan, at sabugan ng matamis niyang liwanag
ang nagkakaisang magkakalahi’t magkakapatid na ligayang walang katapusan, ang
mga ginugol na buhay, pagod, at mga tiniis na kahirapa’y labis nang natumbasan.
Conclusion
• to develop a strong alliance with each and every
Katipunero. to unite Filipinos into one solid nation;
to win Philippine independence by means of an
armed conflict (or revolution) to establish a republic
after independence.
