difficulty lies in navigating the fine line between providing a comprehensive overview of the
importance of references in academic writing and delving into the specific nuances of citation styles.
One of the primary challenges is striking the right balance between theoretical concepts and practical
applications. Addressing the significance of references in supporting arguments and enhancing the
credibility of the essay demands a deep understanding of scholarly conventions. At the same time,
explaining the technicalities of various citation formats, such as APA, MLA, or Chicago, requires a
meticulous approach to detail.

The Oedipus Complex And The Electra Complex
Sigmund Freud s declaration that neuroses...can be derived only from disturbances in
sexual life (94), challenged the prevailing societal attitudes of his day regarding mental
health, childhood development, and human sexuality. Freud explored the inner life of
children developing into adulthood by reviving mythological stories of incest, brutality,
and obsessive self love: The Oedipus Complexand the Electra Complex, both variations
on the theme of destructive love, murdering the same sex parent and marrying the
opposite parent, and narcissism, destructive love of self, vividly allegorized the perils of
the journey to adulthood. Freud approached treating neuroses with a new method he
termed psychoanalysis. From the psychoanalytic point of view, the expectation of
dysfunction is assumed, in varying degrees, as virtually all individuals experience at least
minimal trauma during their development. Freud acknowledged that the very process of
growing apart from a parent, notably the mother whose body conceived and sustained the
dependent child, is an inherently anxious process, poignantly observing Anxiety in
children is nothing more than an expression of the fact that they are feeling the loss of
the person they love (101). Maturation not only involves vulnerability, it also requires it,
as it is built into the process of differentiation.
As the child grows, he relates himself to the external world through different organs or
erotogenic zones (oral, anal, and genital).
Mindset Reflective Essay
Honestly, I never really got into this book and I thought it was pretty pointless overall.
It was in no way interesting, hard, or thought provoking. It really made me realize how
I m in 8 grade and I m not a little kid anymore. Also, reading this book along with
Mindset , I really started to realize how I took the easy way out by not reading a real
classic. Crossed had a Lexile of around 650, whereas my Lexile is around 1,200. Right
about now I m really regretting my decision to read this book because I didn t have to
stop and think about anything Next quarter I m definitely going to read a more
challenging, thoughtful book. Since this book has such an easy Lexile, there wasn t a big
message in the story. It was mostly just written to entertain... Show more content on

Throughout the whole book, Cassia constantly stated her interest in the Rising. Every
time she would mention it, Ky would say how much he hated it and he and Cassia
would get in an argument. That s why I was really surprised when he joined the Rising
especially since he had to run the entire way there, while Cassia and Indie got to
canoe. This is significant because Ky hated the Rising with all of his heart because it s
the reason his parents were killed, but despite his hate for it, he joined it anyway to be
with Cassia. Getting this message from the book was pretty self explanatory because in
the first book they had no disagreements, so their relationship was perfect. When their
journey through the Carving came to the point where they had to start thinking about if
they were going to join the Rising or the Farmers and they both wanted to go to different
destinations, their relationship became full of bickering. In the end, though, they loved
each other so much that Ky gave up his hate for the Rising to join it. This shows that if
you love somebody enough that no matter what it is you can learn to

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo just announced last month that they were engaged and
the big moment hasn t even aired on Counting On yet. It turns out that instead of having
a local wedding, Jinger Duggar might get married in New York City. Jeremy s family is
from New Jersey, which would mean it would be close to his family. Jinger s family
would be able to make the trip there to see the wedding. One thing a source says is that
the couple is stressed out about the idea of uninvited guests showing up. It doesn t
seem like Jinger and Jeremy will be telling anyone where the wedding is at so people
don t just show up. There is no word if they are worried about fans showing up or
someone that they know that Jeremy and Jinger just don t want there. ... Show more

Research Paper On Workplace Mobbing
(Horvat, B., Pagon, M., 2012, Para. Abstract) says, creating a mobbing safe work
environment can be a real challenge; to achieve it, a better understanding of related
construct is necessary . Workplace mobbing in its own can be detrimental to any
organization and it s even worse when employers are made aware of actions such as
workplace mobbing and no nothing at all. According to (Horvat, B. Pagon, M. 2012,
pg. 160), Leymann (1990), describes workplace mobbing as psychological, terror in a
workplace caused by individual or a group on a daily basis for at least six months,
until the victim leaves the organization or becomes in capable of practicing of his or
her profession . Workplace mobbing definition is a very serious offense and
organizations should not take any situation lightly when an employee comes forward
to report workplace mobbing. For example, my former employer faced a situation
where an employee filed a complaint against a supervisor for workplace mobbing. The
employee was sent into a nervous breakdown and had to be admitted to the hospital all
because this supervisor was engaging in workplace mobbing. The end result to this
situation was my co worker had an extended hospital stay and now due to this
traumatic experience, she is still employed with the company but she now only comes
into work when she is able to due to workplace mobbing. This example that I provided
is a real life experience and it shows that workplace mobbing is frightening and can
Trends And Patterns In Vancouver
Trends and patterns in human settlement and Population:
The population of the Vancouver metropolitan area is 2.5 million ( Vancouver
Population 2016. ). The growth rate of Vancouver has been increasing; the population
went up by 200,000 from 2006 to 2011 ( Vancouver Population 2016. ). As the growth
rate goes up, it results in a rise in the birth rate as well. Vancouver is a very diverse area
with many ethnic groups and cultures. The 3 main ethnic groups in Vancouver consist of
Caucasian, South Asian Origins, and Southeast and east origins. Vancouver being
diverse could attract many others to migrate. The majority of Vancouver s area is very
dense which also leads to it being a clustered area due to the big population in a tight
area, the densest ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Government funded elementary schools and high schools generally offer students a
high quality of education. Then comes post secondary, Vancouver is home to two of
the most prestigious universities in Canada and are even well known around the
world. These include UBC (University of British Columbia) and Simon Fraser
University. These two universities have a wide variety of programs with over 400
programs available (MyBlueprint). The city also offers a number of apprenticeship
opportunities for automotive service technicians, auto body workers, blacksmiths, and
carpenters, to name a few. Leading on from post secondary is employment. Vancouver
has the lowest unemployment rate in Canada at 5.3% (Statistics Canada), which is
really great since it increases the chances of getting a job after postsecondary.
Vancouver s port (see appendix C) is the number one employer in Greater Vancouver,
creating 45,000 jobs (Living in Canada). The port generates $6.1 billion in wages. Also,
many big technology companies such as Electronic Arts, Intel, Microsoft, and Kodak s
headquarters are located in Vancouver which offers much more job
The Museum Of Natural History
Museums are information organizations, that is, they are about giving the most up to
date information to their patrons. No matter how well their organization, commercially,
is wrap it up that part of them remains the same. From the two museums that I visited, the
Henry Ford Museum and the Museum of Natural History, are clearly about passing
information to the patron. There are differences between them, however, it is the
equivalences that I want to focus on as they are what bind them. The three areas of focus
are community, academic outreach, and the stories they share. Creating a strong and
vibrant community is important to museums. Dr. Ronquillo, a leader a Philippine
Archeology museum, so elegantly wrote, A properly planned community museum can
express and elucidate the community s cultural wealth through the appropriate
presentation and exhibition of their important natural and cultural heritage (Ronquillo,
1992). It is the community that keeps generation after generation coming back to see the
history that us humans, the earth, and beyond have gone through. The journey of
information, for most, begins as a child during our time at school. For the Museum of
Natural History, this is quite literal as the museum is a part of the University of
Michigan culture. They have the mascot, the wolverine, College students are going in
and out of there through the day. Most are heading to class or doing work study, but a
community is still present. But it is just not college
Biological Agent Essay
Following exposure, Biological agents may remain in the air and cause problems after
their release. This means that the virus could spread before we even know that it has
spread.
One very easy way of launching a biological attack is through the use of our aviation
transportation system. At airports such as the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in
Houston, Texas, the Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida, the Los Angeles
International Airport in Los Angeles, California, and the John F. Kennedy International
Airport, in New York, which are gateways to every major city in the United States,
processed thousands of travelers every day. The terrorists called Bio martyrs could
deliberately infect themselves with a contagious ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

In this regard, the biological threat is greater than a nuclear one. Acquiring deadly
pathogens, and turning them into biological weapons by making them human
transmissible, has less technological issues than to steal or produce weapons grade
uranium or plutonium and assembling it into an improvised nuclear device. (Vicinanzo,
2015)
Prevention Strategy
A one size fits all approach cannot be utilized when planning for any type incident
involving a widespread disease and planning for a bioterrorist attack using smallpox is no
exception. Each community is going to present its own unique, challenges, resources and
needs. All of these characteristics must be considered when planning for an efficient and
effective response to a bio attack involving smallpox. (www.cdc.gov) The public health
departments that are at the local and state level should work with hospitals, clinics,
public and private organizations, along with the local community leaders and create a
smallpox emergency response plan that involves the community s participation that is
integrated with state and federal plans. Emergency response planning to terrorism in the
past was about bombings and chemical attacks. But those require a more sophisticated
delivery system, and terrorist groups are looking for a quieter strategy. Attacks involving
biological agents are more covert and unless we discover the plot and alert the population
early,
