WELCOME ADDRESS

CLASS 2020
Mike Palacio

Our Deped Officials headed by our Schools Division Superintendent / Dr. Joan A. Corpuz, / our
supportive Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Leonila Agbayani, / ever talented school head of this
institution, Ms. Edencia R. Acoba, / proficient teachers, / loving parents, / my fellow graduates, /
friends, / ladies and gentlemen, / a pleasant day to everyone.

At last, we have made it! / We are all gathered in this virtual flatform full of gladness in our hearts /
despite the pandemic this world is facing right now. / I honestly admit, / it was a different feeling /
knowing that we have spent our last year in the elementary at home / with our modules and with our
parents teaching us, / explaining every detail written in it. / Indeed, / the corona virus made the
traditional graduation be changed / into a virtual ceremony.

To my fellow graduates of class 2021, / congratulations! / Elementary has been an unforgettable journey
to all of us / because the pandemic has made a lot of changes in this world. / Our experiences are unique
/ because of the memorable and influential moments of our lives. / I am filled with excitement and
anticipation/ as the next stage is about to begin, / but without the support of our parents and teachers, /
we may not have it to this day. / They have been there for us since the beginning, / guiding us, /
supporting us/ and watching us grow. / This pandemic should not be the hindrance / for us not to
celebrate our achievements. / We must remind ourselves / that there is a better future that awaits us. /

To our parents, / thank you for giving us the best no matter how hard life is. / / thank
To our teachers,
you for the knowledge and all the lessons you have shared with us. / And above all, to Almighty God, /
for the wisdom and blessings you have bestowed upon us. /
In behalf of the graduating class, / I am pleased to welcome you all / in this second virtual graduation
ceremony/ of Cacafean Elementary School. / Welcome and good day. /
