GATEWAYS
Gateways, the annual national-level IT fest, is about connecting, competing
and bringing all tomorrow's computer folk together. Students compete, learn,
and grow through an array of events, both technical and non-technical. A
vibrant stage for talented students to put their best foot forward, it has seen
their skills and specialties for the past few years and will for many more. The
main aim of Gateways is to provide students with the necessary exposure to
both the field of computer science as well as to other minds in the field. As a
fest organised by students, it is also instrumental in helping them develop
their soft skills as well as their organisational and management skills. In turn,
students from the department give it their all and participate with zest, zeal,
and gusto.
REVELATIONS
To keep up with the pace of the constantly competitive world, we need to
regularly equip ourselves to change in time with our areas of interest and skill.
The Department of Computer Science gives this very opportunity to students
in the form of Revelations, an intra-departmental annual fest. Of the students,
by the students, for the students; it lets them put their expertise and
adaptability on display.

Departmental
Clubs
Labyrinth
Labyrinth was created to give this academy a front end. Labyrinth, the only
Computer Science Club of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), was created with
the sole purpose of providing students with a platform to showcase their
talents and explore various topics in the Computer Science world. Labyrinth
holds multiple events every semester, ranging from technical events like
coding and debugging competitions, logical puzzle challenges, and web
development/designing contests to non-technical events such as fastest
fingers, gaming, and so on. The club also holds workshops or seminars
conducted by industry professionals on topics based on the students’
suggestions.
Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) are community groups for college
and university students interested in Google developer technologies. Students
from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a
developer are welcome. GDSC at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) organises
many technical events and invites different speakers from different parts of the
country to share their knowledge of their domain with the members of the
GDSC.
