And when you want to go out? We should raise our hands and wait to be
called.
6. Review/Drill
Can you still recall our previous topic class? Yes maam.

What was our last topic? Our last topic was all about the Tools and
equipment needed in preparing vegetables.
To test your understanding of our last topic we
will have an activity. Do you want an activity

contains plus points or minus points. Now here’s
the twist. You are given the freedom to keep the
box (if you think this contains plus point) or give

The vegetables that bear fruits are under this

fruit that are eaten raw and plants of which
grains or seeds of their fruit are used, do not fall

5. Valuing turnip) are enlarged taproots.

Who among you here doesn’t want to eat

vegetables?
I maam.
We all know that eating vegetables can provide
nutrients that are vital for our health and the
maintenance of our body.

What do you think will happen if a person lacks

essential nutrients like vitamins and minerals?
That person could develop diseases caused by
vitamin and mineral deficiencies. And also,
If you know someone who doesn’t want to eat that person will be sickly.
vegetables how will you convince him/her to eat
vegetables?
I will tell him or her to eat vegetables to make
us healthier and stronger.
If your younger siblings do not like to eat
vegetables, how will you incorporate vegetables
into his/her meals?
I will set a good example with vegetables.
A bowl of salad on the side is a quick and tasty
option too. If my sibling sees me and my
family filling plates with vegetables to enjoy,
my siblings will probably want to do the same.
Very well said.

Another idea from the class? I will make it fun. I will try making a veggie
face (like cucumber eyes, tomato nose, green
bean mouth, and shredded carrot hair). I will
try serving veggies with yogurt dip or
sprinkled with cheese.

Nice idea class. With that surely your siblings

will eat vegetables.

Now why is it important to eat vegetables? Eating vegetables is very good for human
health. The nutrients and vitamins in
vegetables and fruits help reduce the risk of
several chronic diseases. Besides, vegetables
add fiber very well, helping to maintain health
and body.

Very well said class.
