1981 Tehran UAP

Two F-4 Phantom jets from the Imperial Iranian Air Force encountered strange unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in late 1976. The first F-4 lost all instrumentation and communications upon approaching a brilliant object 70 miles away. A second F-4 obtained a radar lock on a UFO but it rapidly moved away. As the second F-4 pursued further, a smaller object detached from the larger UFO and headed quickly towards the F-4. No explanation was found for these strange events.

;fJIISometime in his caree r , each pilot can expect to encounter
strange, unusual .happenings which willnever be adequately or .
entirely explained by logic or subsequent investigation. The follow-
ing article recounts just such an episode_ as reported by two F-4
Phantom crews of the Imperial Iranian Air Force dur ingLate 1976.
No additional information or explanation of the strange events has'
been fo rtb c'orrring ; the story will be filed away and probably for-"
gotten, but it makes interesting, and possibly disturbing, reading.
