Risk Assessment Reference

The document assesses major risks from using an articulated man-lift to install cladding. Key risks identified include striking other equipment or personnel from collisions, getting caught in between moving parts of equipment, and crushing hazards from the man-lift. Control measures proposed include inspecting equipment, delineating work areas, using spotters with radios, wearing PPE, and following safe operating procedures like keeping body parts inside the lift and maintaining distances from moving parts. The top priority risks relate to collisions, crushing hazards, and getting caught in equipment.
