Campus Students Performance in Board Examination

INTRODUCTION

Board examinations are given by professional regulatory agencies in various countries to


its citizens to ensure that the desired job efficiency is achieved, especially those critical to
society. The assessment also aims to measure the person’s competencies and abilities in
performing their jobs in the industry. Every year, new batch of examinees take their chance in
passing the exam and becoming licensed professionals. However, there are times that the
percentage exam result does not meet the national passing rate, resulting to an unfavorable
reflection the university performance.
Performance in the board examinations is taken as one of the measures of the quality of a
program. If the rate of the first attempt passing is high, it is a good measure of program
excellence (Professional Regulation Commission CHED, 2004). The purpose of this research is
to predict the students that will likely to pass board examinations and to maintain the high
passing rate of the university.
OBJECTIVES

 To develop a system to predict the Isabela state university jones campus students’
performance in board examinations
 To help the top management in decision making.
 To provide online review materials for the students.
