Key Responsibilities - Follow and ensure the project development process in accordance
with ISO 13485 and the departmental work methodology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively detect and analyze issues or areas for improvement of the existing portfolio
and propose solutions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of any new system development through
all steps of the process.
- Provide guidance for all members of the engineering team when it comes to designing,
implementing, and updating new pieces of equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and product
performance.
- Ensure that all standard procedures are followed and properly documented.

Main Responsibilities
The engineer will work with Meltio teams and component suppliers in order to:
● Develop and optimize designs in 3D CAD software with associated CAE tools
● Resolve issues and concerns with cross-functional teams including engineering, firmware,
● Participate in the sourcing process and manage engineering relationships with suppliers
Utilize CAD software to design automotive stamped parts, focusing on Side Panel,
Cantrail, Bodyside Inner, Tailgate Panels; also A, B, C and D Pillar.
Take ownership of design projects from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy,
feasibility, and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct feasibility assessments of stamped parts in Steel/Body in White (BiW)
environments, evaluating joining techniques such as welding or riveting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance,
and product development to optimize designs for production efficiency and quality.
Provide technical expertise and support throughout the design process, addressing
any challenges or issues that arise.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in stamping technology, and
emerging design methodologies to enhance product performance and innovation.
Responsibilities:
· You will be responsible for design and development of automated equipment to meet
customer requirements, owning design elements from concept to project delivery.

· You will contribute to the delivery of projects, to the required scope, budget, schedule, and
quality, reporting back on project progress and performance; from concept/proposal, through
execution, delivery, and review.
· Ensure project requirements are reviewed and understood, and agreed with the customer.
· Plan and prioritise work, across multiple projects, and ensure completion.
· Collaborate with project teams, sharing knowledge and working on problem solving.
· Contribute to Continuous Improvement within the department and across the business.
· Must be a self-starter with a good attention to detail, willing to take ownership and
responsibility to realise project milestones.
Conduct feasibility studies and energy efficiency reports to optimize designs and
ensure sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure all designs and projects comply with Building Regulations, relevant Codes of
Practice, and Standards.
