JAR a320 Neo Managed Flight (rev 8*)

Hot start and Taxi: Above 10,000 ft:


• Fuel up (determine amount for 45min reserve) ‹3HUKPUNSPNO[ZVќ
• Click Hot Start • Set climb SPD as needed (280) or use managed
• Beacon or nav lights (“we’re working here”) ‹;\YUVќZLH[ILS[ZHZYLX\PYLK
• Set cockpit and cabin temps

• Engine switch NORM (dry conditions) • Before T/D: dial G/S intercept altitude
• Program FMCG via the MCDU (caution: only enter • Push ALT knob
CRZ FL after F-Plan entered or get altitude error) • Turn on seat belts
• Spoilers armed • Spoilers as needed (use OPEN DES)
• Flaps to 2 (dry conditions)
• Taxi/Runway/Landing lights as needed
Below 10,000:
• Landing lights
• Emergency lighting armed
• ILS button on

• Flight Controls • PERF page: enter temp, baro, winds
• Flaps 1, 2 (if not set before taxi)
• on EFIS: ND range to 10, and rose to ARC

• ATC altitude or cruise altitude on FCU
pilot intervention for speeds and altitude
• Autobrake MAX
• Activate APPR Phase (decel begins)
• Strobes and landing lights on
• When GS or LOC indicators appear, click APPR

• Click AP2 on localizer
• Opt: Set SPD knob to V2+15 to avoid nose drop
• Rose to ILS
Take off: • Flap 1 at Green Dot

• Power to Flex • Auto Brake MED
• Start Chronometer • Spoilers armed
• Stick half forward • Enter go around altitude in FMS
• At 80 knots check N1 of both engines • Monitor speed
• Stick to neutral • Gear down and nose lights on
• At VR, rotate to max 10° pitch (avoid tail hit) • Flaps 3 and then Full
• Gear up • Use VAPP of 140–145 knots (see APPR scrn)
• Spoilers disarmed
• Stablize pitch (<=18°) and roll before AP engage
Touchdown
• Reverse
