PROCEDURE
A. Awareness
A. MOL (Greetings, Rules, Checking of Attendance)
B. Review of the previous lesson.
C. Motivation:
1. Students will be asked to look and the images closely.
2. The objective of the activity is to spot the odd one out in a set of images.
3. Then students will be asked to play close attention to details, and identify the
odd one out in each set of images.

D. Analysis
Questions about the activity:
1. What did you notice in the pictures and set of words?
2. Are the pictures and set of words consistent in pattern? Why do you say so?
3. Why is it important that the pictures and set of words follow a pattern and
consistent?
D. Abstraction
Parallel Structure
- means using the same construction for sentence elements that are the same in
function.

Three rules of for Parallel Structure in writing:


1. Parallel Structure should be used when elements are joined by coordinating
conjunctions
2. Parallel Structure should be used when writing elements in the form of a list or a
series
3. Parallel Structure should be used when comparing or contrasting elements (A is
better than B or X is less than Y)

E. Application
1. Students will be presented with a YouTube video as part of their review process.
2. They are to be encouraged to participate.

IV.ASSESSM Students will be assessed by a 15-item quiz.


ENT/ Students must write their answer in a ¼ sheet of paper.

Directions:
Select the word or phrase that needs to be changed to make the sentence correct.
Some sentences contain no error at all. Write only the letter of your best choice on a ¼
sheet of paper.
