The pie charts compare and contrast the perception data of working people in 3
different major between town A and town B from 1960 to 2010, measured in
percentage. A closer examination of the charts underscore the fact that, except
Sales figure in town B, all factors emerge a noticeable changes with a converse
direction in every town.
To delve into specifics, in town A, Services percent experienced a massive ascent,
from only 29% in 1960 up to 64% in 2010. On the other hand, the amount people
employed in Sales and Manufacturing decreased a half in 2010 and contributed for
just 36% in total. In town B, the chart witnessed the same trend for every factor,
however, after falling for 17% from 1960 to 2010, Manufacturing still remained its
throne by taking up more than half of the chart. While Services in town B is quite
similar to the A with more than 2 times doubled, Sales seemed to be different from
its movement in town A with a stable status for just 2% increase in 51 years.
Task 2: Some people think that it is more beneficial to take part in sports which are
played in teams, like football. But others think taking part in individual sports is
better, like swimming. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
The debate surrounding the inclusion of sports genres in daily activities has garnered significant
attention in recent years, as differing viewpoints emerge as to whether people should play in team or
individual sports. It is my contention that playing sports with team arrangement would be a better
idea for every sporty participant.
To begin with, team sports usually create more motivation, especially for the beginners. When
you’re in a team, you will have many chances to learn and can be taught by better players, as they
have been through your current stage of learning a new sport, thus many experiences and lessons are
more easily to be learned and you can play better everyday. Surely, you’ll have buddies or friends
who are willing to remind you to practice and play with them more often, though this is very
important to maintain a sporty schedule on your weekends, especially your lazy days. Moreover,
usually having rivalry means you have to compete and work hard everyday to win the match. This
kind of competitive mindset can push you to improve your skill. Beside that, a clearly vision that can
be easily seen is you will likely have more new friends which can keep you socially and be active.
Making a new relationship who share the same interest in sport means you have something in
common to share, therefore it creates a basic step to become a close friend or good partner in all
matters of life. In terms of dangerous situations or risks that may accidentally happen while you're
participating in sports, your friend may save your life when you need someone most.
However, individual sports exhibit their own credit for the flexibility in personal sports schedules.
Due to the frequent working or studying timetable, people are likely to get very busy and can’t afford
to manage their time following a steady schedule which usually exists in a team. When you exercise
alone, you can do it whenever and wherever you want, this can give you space and time to relax or
even enjoy that moment better because you don’t have to follow any rules or be yelled at if you don’t
play well. Fees for maintaining, uniform, tools in team groups are also some problems for low
financial people which can be saved when you choose individual sports. Finally, single exercise
helps you avoid powerful and energetic techniques. Not everyone has good physical strength, they
may struggle taking part in those competitive sports. Slow pace, medium intensity sports would be
the best option to make it a everday exercise for these people. Individual sports also lower chances of
getting injuries or bad hurt and maximize your practice time. For example, if you don’t swim well,
you can still swim and practice everyday, but in a team, such as a soccer team, you will be left on the
substitution bench if you don’t play well.
Ultimately, although single sports might give you freedom and relaxing physical activity, i totally
agree with aggressive and teammate sports due to its highly competitive and benefits in expanding
your social relationships.
