First of all, We would like to thank all people who helped us with this project, without
their support and guidance it wouldn’t have been possible. We finally managed to accomplish
this project. We appreciate Dr Nik Zaini for his guidance and supervision which has provided
a lot of knowledge for completing our project. This project can be done without effort and
cooperation from our group member, which consist of Khairi, Asnawi, Dzaliq, Syamir, and
Zareet. We sacrifice our time and our dedication to complete this project and to make sure our
project is perfect.

Apart of that, we would like appreciate our friend from another section who guided us

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Project Title

Project title that has been chose by our group is ‘Single Storey A6 Safety Guard House’.

1.2 Project Briefing

The group produce a set of architectural drawing and structural drawing consists
of five (5) students in the subject of BFC10303 Engineering Drawing and CAD. In this
project, each group is needed to propose the architectural and structural drawing of a
building which has been built around UTHM Parit Raja area.

In our case, we have choose building that located at the entrance of UTHM. This
building called as ‘bahagian keselamatan’ and also known as A6 building which is the
building for the safety guard of UTHM. This building is a ‘single storey house’ with
the total area of 935.7m² consist of (1) room on duty, (2) rest room, (1) living room, (1)
room of the head of the legal unit, (4) toilets, (1) kitchen, (1) utilities room, (2)
multimedia room and in the middle of the building is the administrative room.

This proposed project is located nearly at the main gate of UTHM. It is a

headquarters for the safety guard to serves as the primary administrative center where
key decision-making, management, and coordination activities take place. Everything
that the staff required located at this premises. In the meaning of that, the planning stage
is the most important since it determines the shape and texture of the house structure.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

3.1 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The UTHM auxiliary police office, known as building A6, was chosen as the designated
building to implement this project. This building is located close to the main entrance and
opposite the UTHM Sports Center Stadium. Building A6 is also close to the UTHM bus stop
and Dewan Tunku Mahkota Ismail UTHM. The distance between Building A6 with the
UTHM bus stop and Dewan Tunku Mahkota Ismail UTHM is only 50 meters from the
auxiliary police office, making it a strategic location for auxiliary police officers to carry out
their responsibilities effectively in controlling UTHM. society. For example, they do crowd
control and check individuals and vehicles entering and exiting UTHM. Auxiliary police
officers can reach the main post and begin their surveillance duties at the entrance in just one
minute.

All the drawings are compiled in pdf format in this chapter. There are 5 student’s drawings that
are Student A, Student B, Student C, Student D, Student E collected and compiled together for
complete drawing according to the sequence. Each of the drawings has been placed in a title
block with their information and details in it.

 CHAPTER 5 DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION

5.1 INTRODUCTION

The goal of this chapter is to discuss and summarise the findings of research conducted to
address the report's subjects. Furthermore, the researcher generated some other research
suggestions that could be used by other researchers in the future.

5.2 DISCUSSION

This project made extensive use of commands that were really handy. AutoCAD 2-dimension
plan commands include line, arc, polygon edit, dimensioning, array, move, copy, trim, region,
and mirror. There are other instructions that are not provided, but they are useful for creating
the surface of a solid before extruding into a primitive solid.

5.3 CONCLUSION

The basic goal of the project, which was to create a one-story home using AutoCAD, has
been accomplished. The kids do their part and do their responsibilities neatly. The pieces are
then drawn in AutoCAD by the pupils. As a result, the project target has been met because all
of the designs have been completed. This project also helps us reach our second goal, which
is to understand the fundamentals of AutoCAD by applying simple or sophisticated
instructions. All of the drawings, including the architectural and construction drawings, have
been produced flawlessly and cleanly.
