Use the words/phrases from page 1 to complete the passage describing the graph below.

This 1___________________ shows sales in 2018 from January to

September. The 2________________ shows number of units sold while

can see from the graph, sales 4__________________ from 500 in January

to 1,000 in February. Then, sales 5____________________ to

number. Then, they then decreased to around 2,000 in May.

Page 3 (Example answer) This line graph shows profit in 2016 from January to September. The y axis
shows amount in US dollars while the x axis shows months from January to September. As you can see
from the graph, profits were the highest in January at 44,000 dollars. They decreased slightly in February
and then decreased sharply to around 3,000 in March. We then saw profits increase in April and then
level off between April and June at 15,000 dollars. Profits then increased in July to 33,000 dollars and
then increased slightly again to 35,000 in September.
