2. GENERAL DESCRIPTIONS
(2) After the maintenance work, please confirm that the machine works without any problems by performing some
transaction tests.
(3) Do not unscrew the screws whose top is painted white. Also when operating the other screws, be careful not to
unscrew them by mistakes. Such screws are to be accessed only for the adjustment at HOTS plant.
(4) Do not use the magnetic screwdriver when detaching / attaching the exterior parts of BV, such as BV fan. And
also, do not access to the inside of BV.

1 Overall,
1. Remove the dusts, oils, stains etc., outside UR.

2. Open CS, ESC, and each transportation guide. Clean inside and
surface of sensor.
NOTE1: Clean with a dry cloth without alcohol.
NOTE2: If dirt stains still after cleaning with a dry cloth, clean with
alcohol-contained cloth. But do not soak the alcohol too mach to
seep out and get wet the other parts.
NOTE3: Be careful not to scatter / drop dusts or torn paper into the other
part, while cleaning.

(1) Remove all the banknotes remained in transportation root and every cassette.
(2) Clean all transportation roots, according to AD901.
(3) Confirm that every cassette is loaded to UR.
(4) Issue “Reset” command (*1), and confirm the execution completes without error / warning.
(5) Issue “Margin check all sensors ” command. (*2)
(6) Check whether the data of the ‘Margin check result’ and part of the ‘Actual Result of Masked Sensors’ in the
response are all zero (cf. Fig. 902-1). If not, identify the sensor code with “Interface Specification” (DWG.
No. 4P012600), then clean the sensor with dry cloth. Also clean transportation roots around the sensor with
it.
(7) After cleaning, check and confirm sensors by issuing “Margin check all sensors ” command again. If some
errors/ warnings remain, clean the sensor with cloth with alcohol (ethanol).
