COURSE OBJECTIVE: At the end of the course, the students will be able to recognize the mechanisms of mass
transport processes, will apply them to associated transfer processes, and will calculate and evaluate related
industrial and environmental problems.
COMPETENCIES:
Throughout this course, students will develop the:
1. Ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems related to mass transfer by applying
principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, problems and solutions related to mass transfer.
