Ava and Noah are talking about what they did on their holiday last year.
Ava: Last year I went on a cruise to Italy and Croatia with my parents, my two brothers and my grandmother. It was a ten-
day trip.
Noah: Really? How was it?
Ava: Well, it was unforgettable. The ship was so huge… and the views… Wow!!
Noah: And what did you do there?
Ava: I swam in the swimming pool and took lots of photos. My family and I visited important landmarks and tried food from
different countries. We always went dancing after dinner. We had so much fun!
Noah: What was Croatia like?
Ava: It’s a beautiful country. Its beaches and old churches are amazing. You must visit it! What about you? What did you
do last summer?
Noah: I went camping with my cousins. We went to Salford, near Manchester. We travelled by caravan, but we slept in a
tent. In the morning we swam in the river and at night my cousin Ricky played his guitar. We sang happy songs around the
fire and ate s’mores, roasted marshmallows with chocolate and biscuits. Hmm! Delicious! I loved spending a week in the
countryside.
Ava: Well, we both had a lot of fun! We should repeat it!
