LESSON PROCEDURE
1. Warm Up

a. Welcoming
Teacher enter the class before the students to prepare the materials and song to
welcome the students to the class, the teacher then greet the student with “Good
morning class, How are you?” the students answer it by “Good morning sir, I’m fine
thankyou and you?” Teacher then answer it with “I’m fine too thankyou”
Then teacher proceed to play a video about song to welcome the students, teacher
also ask them to sing along.

b. Praying
After welcoming the students, the teacher ought to lead the prayer
c. Checking attendance
Teacher checking the students attendance by calling their names one by one and the
teacher ask them to answer it with “I’m here sir”

2. Main Activity
a. Introducing colors with song
The teacher will ask the students to watch and listen to song video about colors. Then
repeat the song video and ask them to sing along.

b. Reviewing it with the helps of flashcard


Teacher takes out a flashcards and shows it to the students. Reviewing the materials
from the song video with the help of the flashcard. Teacher will use “repeat after me”
while showing the flash card one by one.

c. Sing along a song about favorite colors


Teacher will ask the students to make a big circle in the class, and then play a song
about favorite color. Then teacher proceed to ask them to sing along.

( Try to choose randomly the students to ask what is their favorite color and then
continue the song according to his/her favorite color.)

d. Play "Color Stand Up and Jump"


- After singing about favorite colors, teacher then giving out all of the colored
papers according to their favorite color.
- Tell your students to sit down. Say a color (e.g. "red") and the students holding
that color have to quickly stand up, jump and then sit down.
- Start off slowly and get faster and faster.

e. Play "Scavenger Hunts"


- Using tape, tape down pieces of construction paper for the colors of blocks or
toys that you’ll be using.
- Demonstrate to your students how to do the activity. Show them that one at a
time you need to find a hidden treasure (that is block toys) and you should place
the corresponding color block onto the paper to exchange the block into a
candy/chocolate. Explain that each students only could pick 1 block at a time.
- Let them place each block on the paper and match the colors, giving them
guidance as necessary.
- To add language, have them say the color as they pick it up or repeat you as you
say it.
- Don’t forget to praise each of them even if some of them still need an assistance
from you.

3. Wrap Up
a. Quick review about todays activity
After all of the activity ends, teacher will give a quick review by asking “what colors
did we learn today?” to check their understanding. Then proceed to check with “What
color are carrot?” and so on. Keep it quick don’t make it too long

b. Task & Homework : Coloring by Number


- Tell the students that they have more things to do at home
- Shows them a worksheet “Coloring by Number” and explain them how to do it
- After that tell them to pack their things and remind them if there’s anything left
behind.
- Closing Prayer

c. Sing a long Goodbye song


- Teacher once again plays a song to close the class, teacher need to memorize the
dance from the video, so the students will have your attention when you’re trying
to show them the goodbye dance song.
