Live Chat Sales Agent

Qualifications: Experience in call center and sales experience. Excellent communications skills and a
clean criminal check

Pay: $16.00/hr ( Subject to change please confirm with team lead) Candidate will be on HRC payroll.
Any payroll questions should be directed to HRC.

Commission: Can earn sales commissions on upselling/ cross- selling products & services( details
provided by manager)

Benefits: No employer sponsored benefits offered

Location: North York/ Scarborough. Major Intersection is Don Mills and Sheppard Ave.

Hours : Must be available to work rotational shifts (Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturdays and
Sundays 8am to 9:00pm)

Training: Two weeks of in-class training.

Remote but may work in the office in the future. Please ensure they have necessary equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Live Chat Agents who are looking to move beyond a regular job
towards a potential career with our client.

We are looking for a high energy, results-focused individual for the following role.

Position offers:

• A base wage of $16.00/hr plus 4% vacation on every pay

• Paid training

• Full time positions available – 37.5 hours per week

• You must be available to work Rotating Shifts: Mon-Fri: 8am-9pm, Sat- Sun: 8am-9pm.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Live Chat and Email inquiries from customers/non-customers and converting potential leads and customer
service opportunities into sales

• Meet monthly quotas, primarily based on conversion rates per call

• Answer questions via email and chat with a high quality level of customer service

• Be able to identify sales opportunities based on information given by caller and sell company's products
and plans
Qualifications:

 Must have Live Chat experience- must be clearly indicated in resume.


 Must have Excellent writing skills
 Inbound/Outbound call centre experience – minimum 2 years
 Must demonstrate proven sales acumen – quota bearing sales position
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 Must have a positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
 Proven customer service capability
 Proven ability to handle objections
 Must be able to work in a team environment
 Ability to follow prescribed scripting
 Ability to work with the Dialer – be prepared when calls are offered
 Reliable, punctual and professional

Note:this position requires a Criminal Background Check to be completed for potential candidates. These
checks must be satisfactory in order for an employment offer to be extended unconditionally .

Keywords: In addition to the above, sales, call center, contact center, sales, inbound sales, inside
sales, combinations of all job titles and keywords listed.

Companies: Enercare, Belyea, Aireone Rogers, Bell, Teleperformance, millennium one

Recruitment Process

1. Review Resume
- If moving forward Add candidate to CURA & Attach to Job Order
2. Phone Screen ( using phone screen questions)
- Phone screening questions are in CURA under questionnaire. IF not in CURA: add in
documents and add a note.
IF candidate meets requirement move to step 3.
3. Speak to team lead and advise that you wish to move forward.
- Add HRC Logo
- Ensure resume is up to date/ ask candidate if resume to send updated resume( Note: Do
not send Indeed resumes if you do, modify resume to a different format)

Team lead will send resume from CURA under to Job order and add notes.

4. Interview with Reliance Ignite Inbound Manager –


-Assist the team lead with facilitating the back and forth between candidate and
client( Reliance) during the scheduling of the interview
-Schedule Zoom meeting between HR Team Lead and candidate for interview prep
- Ensure candidate receives all interview details
- Call or SMS candidate day of interview wishing them good luck – From CURA
5. Follow up with candidate and Team lead( for feedback from client) on interview and confirm
next steps.
6. If an offer is extended -Work with Team Lead to assist with onboarding.
-Verbal confirmation to candidate of offer
- Request Criminal check through Mintz
- Complete reference checks
-Obtaining candidate IDs

8. Recruitment Lead to advise Manager placement is confirmed by Client so manager will place in
CURA

Onboarding( Subject to Change) :

1. Work with Team Lead to assist with onboarding.


-Verbal confirmation to candidate of offer
- Request Criminal check through Mintz
- Complete reference checks
-Obtaining candidate IDs
-Ensure criminal check is completed and uploaded in CURA
- Send confirmation email to candidate with first day details

2. Follow up with candidate before first day to ensure they have all details and wish good luck
3. Check in with candidate at end of first week

New Hire Checklist

Call candidate to advise of offer.

Send request for criminal check through Mintz and follow up with candidate to
ensure completed.

Upload completed criminal check to CURA

Complete reference checks. Upload completed references in CURA.

Work with team lead to ensure candidate receives confirmation email

Obtain SIN, direct deposit details and upload in CURA

Give candidate a call the day before his start day to wish him/her luck. If they do
not respond leave voicemail and send an SMS.

Ensure Candidate is placed in CURA
