Re: Hostel Bed-space Allocation for the 2023-2024 Academic Session

Dear All,
We are pleased to announce the commencement of online accommodation booking for the upcoming
2023-2024 Academic Session. This significant change was directed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor A. O.
Ikelegbe, to streamline and improve the process. To facilitate your booking, we have launched a user-
friendly online platform on our school website.

Here are the steps to book a hostel bedspace online, starting from Monday, 9th October, 2023:
1. Visit the Accommodation Booking Platform: Go to app.wdu.edu.ng to access the booking platform.
2. Signup: Click on the "Signup" button and complete the initial signup form. Please ensure that you
provide a functional email address and phone number. Make a note of the password you choose, as
you will need it to sign in later.
3. Email Verification: After signup, a verification message will be sent to the email address you provided.
Follow the instructions in the email to verify your email address.
4. Biodata Form: Complete a 4-step biodata form, which is a mandatory requirement before accessing
the hostel application area.
5. Hostel Application: Once you've completed the biodata form, select "Hostel Application" from your
dashboard.
6. Payment: Click on the "Pay Now" button to pay the hostel allocation fee of N1000. You can make this
payment using a debit card, USSD, or your bank's mobile app.
7. Download and Print: After successful payment, download and, if necessary, print your Hostel
Allocation Slip and Payment Receipt.
8. Check-in: Take the Hostel Allocation Slip to the porters of the hostel you were allocated for the check-
in process.

For individuals who do not have access to a device or internet connectivity, or those who require
assistance with the application, we will provide two workstations in the Academic Block to facilitate the
process.

Please adhere to the provided timeline and instructions to ensure a smooth hostel bedspace allocation
process for the upcoming academic session.
