COMMUNITY NURSING CARE PLAN

SITUATION:
Sitio Enriquez, nestled in the outskirts of Cebu, Philippines, paints a picture of resilience amidst environmental challenges. Its narrow pathways wind past makeshift
homes, where stagnant water pools due to poor drainage and the scent of open dumping sites linger in the air. Yet, amidst these hardships, the community thrives with a
palpable sense of solidarity and peace. Children play joyfully on dusty streets, their laughter echoing resilience in the face of adversity. Unlike bustling urban areas, Sitio
Enriquez exudes a sense of camaraderie, insulated from the violence often associated with crowded neighborhoods. Here, the nursing students of Cebu Normal University,
led by their dynamic clinical instructor, see an opportunity to enact positive change, not just in healthcare provision but in fostering empowerment and community
resilience.
