until it latches securely.
10 Remove left front axle carrier AR33.10-P-0010GC

11 Slacken bolts (1/12) of right front axle carrier p Do not unscrew bolts (1/12).

12 Lower engine i On vehicles with air conditioning, the bracket AR22.10-P-1260-01GF

for the A/C line on the right rear front axle carrier
must also be detached.
p Lower a maximum of 80 mm.
Pay attention to coolant hoses, AC hoses, fuel
lines and electric cables.

15 Remove exhaust bracket (1/7)

a Danger! Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Pour brake fluid only into suitable and AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

brake fluid. protective clothing and eye protection when
handling brake fluid.
16 Disconnect clutch actuation hydraulic hose (9/1) p Seal hydraulic hose, remove circlip.

17 Take off intermediate bearing (8/2) of right front n *BA33.30-P-1002-07A

18 Supporting transmission with inspection pit lift i Unscrew 2 bolts (1/6) of the transmission AR26.10-P-0020-02GC
attachment before inserting the transmission
support.

19 Unscrew the remaining bolts (1/6) and i Lower engine and take out transmission
disconnect transmission at crankcase downward at an angle.
p When lowering the engine, ensure that the
exhaust pipe does not rest on the front axle
carrier.
i Installation: Check the seat of the fitted
sleeves in the crankcase. Dowel sleeves must
be installed in the crankcase (2 in total).

20 Install in the reverse order

21 Check transmission oil level j Correct oil level: Bottom edge of oil filler hole. *BF26.10-P-1001-01C

and oil drain hole with sealing compound.
22 Bleed clutch actuation AR25.20-P-0070GC

23 Perform control module adaptation bleeding, i only vehicles with automatic clutch (code
setting of ACS and determination of grip point 421a).
with HHT.
