Abstract And Introduction
Motivation:
The motivation behind the Intelligent Accident Management System (IAMS) is to
save lives and reduce the severity of injuries resulting from accidents on highways.
The key motivating factors are:
1. Safety: The primary motivation is to enhance road safety and reduce the
number of fatalities resulting from highway accidents.
2. Efficiency: The need for an efficient and effective system to alert medical
professionals and emergency services about accidents promptly.
3. Population Growth: The increasing global population has led to a surge in the
number of vehicles on the road, making accidents and their consequences
more prevalent.
4. Technological Advancements: Leveraging advanced technologies such as IoT
(Internet of Things), GPS, and real-time data communication to create a
responsive and proactive accident management system.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENT:
THE PERSON IS
UNCONSCIOUS
4. Buzzer
5. Two DC motors with motor driver circuitry (such as an L298N motor driver)
9. Mems Sensor
Challenges:
• While the IAMS is a promising solution, it also faces certain challenges:
• Privacy Concerns: Managing sensitive accident data while respecting
individual privacy is a significant challenge.
• Infrastructure Deployment: Installing sensors and establishing real-
time communication infrastructure requires significant investment.
• Maintenance: Ensuring the continuous functionality of sensors and
communication equipment demands ongoing maintenance.
REAL LIFEE USE CASES OF OUR PROJECT:
It can also provide data for post-accident analysis and insurance claims processing.
2. Industrial Safety:
Alerts can help prevent accidents, improve worker safety, and minimize downtime.
In elderly care facilities or at home, fall detection systems can use accelerometers
or similar sensors to detect falls or unusual movements.
When a fall is detected, the system can automatically send alerts to caregivers or
emergency services.
4. Home Security:
Accident alert systems can be part of home security systems, monitoring for
unusual events like break-ins or accidents (e.g., a person falling down the stairs).
