Dear Interns,

As you approach the completion of your first 200 hours of internship duties, the Alumni
Placement and OJT Office would like to remind you of the importance of submitting a
detailed internship journal to your advisers. The A.P.O. department has released an
institutional template that outlines how you should be working on your journal. The
format is as follows:

1. Use Arial font size 12.

2. Maintain 1.5 spacing throughout the document.

3. Use the template listed below.

4. Submit both hard and soft copy to your adviser.

5. Attach relevant pictures of your internship engagements.

6. While generative AI tools can be useful to help you structure your thoughts, using
them to write major parts of your journal is not tolerated. Disclose your use of AI writing
tools by citing AI in your journal.

Please ensure that you follow these guidelines while preparing your journal. If you have
any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your advisers.

VI. Personal Reflection: Reflect on your initial 200 hours of

internship experience, you may have encountered situations
that either confirmed or contradicted business theories you
learned in the classroom.

For example, you may have learned about the importance

of “teamwork” in business, but found that working with a
team in a real-world setting was more challenging than you
anticipated.

Alternatively, you may have learned about the importance of

“communication” in business, but found that the
communication style used in your internship differed from
what you learned in the classroom.
