● Set up the different trails using cones, leaving adequate space between each trail. • Unless
otherwise stated, leave approximately 1m between each cone. • Organise four or five children to
start at each different trail. • The children take it in turns to dribble their basketball through the
trail as many times as possible in the available time. • More than one child can move through the
trails at any one time, leaving a gap between each person. • Rotate around the different trails
spending approximately two minutes at each one

● Giants Wizards and Gnomes (Rock Paper Scissors game)

○ Like RPS except you use your whole body to express
○ Giants > Wizards > Gnomes > Giants
○ Divide students into two sides on the field.
○ All students choose one to express then line up in the middle of the field.
○ Count down 3,2,1 then all the students show their expression.
● Rock paper Scissors war
○ In this game, players in teams of 4 or 5 face each other at opposite ends of a gym or
playing area (ex. blue vs yellow). In front of each teams’ line about a metre out is a cone to
mark where a point is scored. On the “GO” signal or whistle, the first person in each line
will run towards each other until they meet – they play R.P.S. (HINT: if they play with their
sides turned towards their teammates, then they’ll be able to see and react more quickly).
The loser of R.P.S. (ex. yellow) returns to the back of their line, while the winner (blue)
continues running towards the opposition (yellow) cone. By now the next person in the
20”
yellow team should be running towards the blue player advancing towards their cone.
Wherever they meet they play R.P.S… the winner continues, the loser goes to the back of
their line and hopefully the next in line has reacted and is running out to meet the
advancing player, etc, etc, continue, continue.

Demonstrate a refined sequence of movement that incorporates changing
