LESSON Mathematics2 COT 1 2023
B. Developmental
Activities
Look at the shapes once again.
Can you see straight lines? How about curve lines?
Look at the chart I have prepared. These are the straight and curve lines that you use
recently.
Straight line is a line with no bends or curves.
Curve line is a line that is not straight and is bent.
Flat surface is a plane horizontal surface with no depths.
Curved surface is a rounded surface which is not flat.
1. Modeling
(I Do)
Did you know that because of these straight and curve lines, you can create shapes
that is flat and curve surface? How is it possible?
Straight and curved lines can make a 3-Dimensional shape or object.
In Geometry, 3-D or three-dimensional shapes are defined as a solid figure or a
shape that has three dimensions – length, width, and height.
Any 3-D shapes or objects have a flat surface, curved surfaces or having both.

Group 2
Instruction: Trace and draw a shape using straight lines and curve lines.
Draw a shape using straight lines Draw a shape using straight lines and curve lines.
Group 3
Draw any 3-D shapes or objects have a flat surface, curved surfaces or having both.

surface surface and curved surfaces
3. Application
(You Do)
Match the 3D-shapes in the column A that corresponds the object in the column
IV. EVALUATION B.
