ANCHORING SCRIPT FOR PARENTS ORIENTATION PROGRAM

Class 9th and 11th

INTRODUCTION
“A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is
the centre of our universe.”
A very good morning to one and all present here. It gives us an immense pleasure
to extend a warm welcome to our chief guest dr. __________, our parents and
teachers on behalf of entire SMC fraternity. Today on this pleasant and joyful
morning we feel privilege to host this occasion of orientation program.
Dear parents we thank you for choosing us and being part of our family. We look
forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve
their highest potential. As partners we share the responsibility for our children’s
success and i want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our
responsibilities.
In order to make the learning process an interesting journey for them we aim to
encourage learning by doing and expanding their horizon through games and
sport, yoga and meditation, several cultural and co- curricular activities and
educational excursion.
The school has the distinction of providing integrated scheme of education
through the fully professional, dedicated and experienced teaching faculties in
keeping with the new policy of education. We invite you all to join the dynamic
team of SMC family to lay the foundation for a brighter future of your child.
Diya lightening
Let’s begin this day by seeking god’s blessing. Lightning of diya denotes dispelling
of darkness and going into light. Let us all embrace the glow emitted which
represents enlightment, knowledge and wisdom. I request our chief guest dr.
Along with our worthy principal sr. Maria Nancy to come forward to light the
diya.
Prayer
Now i would like to call upon maam Shruti to conduct the prayer service to
invoke the god’s blessing on ourselves.
Welcoming + significance
We, Stella Maris convent school civil lines promise to provide our students the
best platforms to outshine and transform themselves towards future oriented
world by providing a family like environment.
Here in addition to academics our students have out shown themselves by
showing their talents in various fields. SMC due to its innovationism, dynamism
and adopting innovative methods to improve the quality of higher education is
now established itself as one of the best schools in Sultanpur.
I am elated with pleasure to introduce a very special personality our honourable
chief guest __________ . I request maam shruti to offer a bouquet of flowers to
our chief guest as a token of love and respect.
Principal’s address
A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination
and hard work. Yes it’s a believe endorsed by our principal sr. Maris Nancy the
sculptor of human character, a seasonal scholar and navigator of this flagship of
knowledge to please come forward and address the gathering. Sr. please.

Now i would like to call upon sir Dharma Prakash. A man who motivates the
younger generation by his poetry, train them to develop their personality by his
unbeatable skills in mathematics. I request sir to please come forward and tell us

child’s future.

Today with deep satisfaction we conclude that there is no alternative to hard

sustained efforts to inculcate in them and tough mindset that is determined and
passionate for success and that too whole at the same time maintaining focus on
social responsiveness.
As all good things come to an end “In ordinary life we hardly realise that we
receive a great deal more than we give and that it is only with gratitude that life
becomes rich.” Thank you all for your valuable time. At last i would like to call
maam Asha Tiwari for giving the vote of thanks.
