EKDM Jobsite Assembly

Instruction
Note
1.This manual is only used to instruct service personnel of EK and its
subsidiaries to assemble EK CKD air cabinets, and is not intended
to be used by external parties.
2.This manual is written to help onsite service personnel to correct
assemble the CKD air cabinet based on illustrations and this manual,
3.This manual helps to ensure that all parts are correctly installed and
used,
the directions of the air/water inlet/outlet pipes are correct, and that
no part is missing or damaged.
4.This manual helps to ensure that the unit performance is reliable, the
unit is neat and tidy and orderly assembled, and that the customer is
satisfied.

• Confirming the Unit to Be Installed


Before Installation

1. Before installing a unit, obtain the drawing from the project management
department and confirm that the air water flow and air rate are within the
rated range of the unit.
2. Confirm that the number of packages is correct, and then open the plate
metal box to take out the installation drawing. Note: The plate metal box
contains key components which must be well protected onsite. Pin up the
wood boxes if necessary.
3. The number of units is marked on the plate metal box. The types of
components in a wood box are marked on each section. During the
installation, obtain the components in the wood boxes according to the
drawing.
4. The bumper under the fan rack must be installed based on the motor class.
The list is at the end of the manual.
Unit Base Assembly
Find the base panel and V-iron base for a unit based on the figure. Drill through using an M6 drill.
Connect the M6*45 bolt with a self-locking nut, as shown in the figures. Note that when
connecting the based panel and the V-iron, leave a 10 mm space when installing the 30 mm panel.
The panel is fixed on the V-iron, and the bolts are fixed to the based panel.

Fixing Coils

Connect the second-


layer coil using 10 mm
bolts.

Installing Racks of Fan and Motor
Measure the space using a tape according to the figure and determine the air outlet direction.
Fix the bumper rack first, and then fix the bumper. Note that the bumpers vary in weight.
Install the heaviest under the motor.

The bumpers must be placed according to the motor class.

Installing Sealing Door

Then install the sealing


door.

Install the frame first.


Apply glass sealant to four sides of the sealing door to tighten the door
and prevent air leakage.

Fix the air flow plate at the air outlet. Note: Not every unit is
equipped with a flow plate. Install by referring to the drawing.

Fixing the Flap
Measure the space according to the figure and fix upper coil

Apply glass sealant to both sides of the drain pan.


Fix the left and right sides of the coil using fixing blocks.
