I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
a. Gain comprehensive understanding of various welding positions, including flat, horizontal,
vertical, and overhead.
b. Identify and appreciate the four (4) types of welding position.
c. Learn the techniques, safety measures, and considerations associated with each position.

A. Preliminary Activities

Class Reminders
B. Review
The teacher will ask one student to give a short recap of yesterday’s discussion.
C. Motivation
The teacher will present a short TikTok video presentation of a man welding.
D. Lesson Proper
Activity
The class will be divided into two groups. Each group will be given a task by
completing a picture puzzle on the board. The first group that can finish the task
correctly will be declared as the winner.
Analysis
The teacher will ask the students what you think our topic is all about.
Abstraction
The teacher will have an interactive discussion using power point presentation and
video presentation that concentrate particularly on welding position to acquire best
quality or output of the bead.
Application
The students will be grouped in four (4) and each group will have a pictures puzzles,
after finishing, a representative of each group will be the one to identify the what
type of welding position is being portrayed in the puzzle.
IV. EVALUATION
10 Minutes to answer
ESSAY. Answer the following. (10 points)
1. What are the four types of welding positions? (5 points)
2. Why it is important to consider the position in welding? (5 points)
V. ASSIGNMENT
Prepare for yourself tomorrow, you will perform 2F and select another representative.
