A. Motivation:
Showing pictures to the pupils.
Describe the following objects.

What can you say about the ball? The ball is big.

What can you say about the flower? The flower is color yellow.

What can you say about the pencil? The pencil is new.

What can you say about the balloon? The balloon is beautiful.

What can you say about the apple? The apple is color red.

The Movements
Worms crawl on the ground.
Birds hop on the ground.
They fly high above the tress.

And I can swim, climb, and creep.

Questions:

2. How do the animals move? They can crawl, hop, fly, swim and can

5. How do we take care of the animals? Feeding them with food which is healthy
for them.

What can you say about sentence? Sentence is a group of words that express
a complete thought and idea.

Correct children! A sentence is a group of words that


tells complete idea or thought. It begins with a capital
letter and ends with a punctuation mark such as:
question mark, a period or punctuation mark.

Can you give an example of a sentence? What is your favorite movie?


The flowers are beautiful.
The house is big.

What can you say about non-sentence? Non-sentence does not express a
complete thought.
Correct! A non-sentence is a group of words that does
not tell a complete idea or though. It does not end with
a punctuation mark, question mark or a period.
