ABSTRACT

Library management system is a web based application that helps to store, manage, and
analyze data related to criminal activities, such as cases, suspects, victims, evidence, etc. A
crime management system can be implemented using Python as the programming language
and a database management system (DBMS) as the data storage and retrieval system.

Python is a popular, high-level, and versatile language that supports multiple paradigms,
such as object-oriented, functional, and procedural. A DBMS is a software system that
provides a standardized way of creating, manipulating, and querying data in a database.

The DBMS ensures data integrity and security by employing robust authentication
mechanisms and access controls, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive information.
Through this system, law enforcement can seamlessly record and update crime incidents,
suspect details, and legal proceedings in a structured and organized manner.

Utilizing relational database models, the project minimizes data redundancy, facilitating
quick and accurate retrieval of information during investigations. The incorporation of
geospatial mapping features enables visual representation of crime data, aiding law
enforcement in identifying patterns and allocating resources strategically.
