1. Square

a) Area of square = L2
b) Perimeter of square = 4L

2. Rectangle

a) Area of rectangle =L× W


b) Perimeter of rectangle = 2L + 2W

3. Parallelogram

Area of paralellogram = b × h

9. Cuboid

a) Volume of cuboid = Lbh

10. Cylinder

(a) Volume of cylinder = π r 2 h


(b) Curved surface area of cylinder = 2 πrh
(c) Total surface area of cylinder
(i) Total surface area of cylinder (closed at both ends) = 2 πrh+ 2 π r 2
(ii) Total surface area of open cylinder(closed at one end) = 2 πrh+ π r 2
(iii) Total surface area of hollow cylinder(open at both ends) = 2 πrh

11. Right Prism

(a) Volume of prism = area of cross-section X height of prism

(b) T.S.A of prism = 2 X area of cross-section + perimeter of cross-section X height of prism


OR
Sum of area of all faces

12. Cone
