(1) Energize the ground service network

(1) If the backrest(s) of the passenger seat(s) is (are) installed, fold it (them).
(2) Remove the cove light panel Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001.

A. Removal of a 3-Frame Sidewall Panel

NOTE: The removal procedure is applicable for the LH and RH sidewall panels.
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their
connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Pull the lining strips (3) down and out of the sidewall panel (1) and the adjacent p
anels.
(3) Push the nose below the gap-covers (2) and pull the gap-covers (2) up to remove
them.

CAUTION: DO NOT PUSH OR PULL THE PLASTIC PARTS WITH TOO MUCH FORC
E. PUSH OR PULL THEM ONLY IN THE SPECIFIED DIRECTION. IF YO
U PUSH OR PULL THEM IN THE INCORRECT DIRECTION OR WITH T
OO MUCH FORCE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE OR BREAK THE PLASTIC
PARTS.
(4) Remove the decor-ring (8):
Ref. Fig. Enhanced Cabin-Special Plastic Parts
(a) Pull the inner edge of the bottom part of the decor-ring (8) until it makes a l
oud click. Do not continue to pull the decor-ring or it will break.

(b) Carefully move the decor-ring (8) down to remove it.

(5) With a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL push the clips in the holes of the covers (7) to rele
ase them.
(6) Remove the covers(7).
(7) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5) and (4).
(8) Lift the sidewall panel (1) to release the yo-yo rollers from the brackets and remov
e it.

NOTE: The removal procedure is the same for the left and right sidewall panels (1).
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their

(4) Remove the decor ring (8) as follows:

(a) Hold the decor ring (8) on the left side with your fingers.

(b) Twist the decor ring (8) until the left upper snap guide is released and make
s a loud click.

(c) Hold the decor ring (8) on the right side with your fingers.

(d) Twist the decor ring (8) until the right upper snap guide is released and ma
kes a loud click.

(e) Pull the decor ring (8) up and remove it.

(5) Use the SCREWDRIVER - SMALL and push the clips into the holes of the covers (7)
to release the cover (7).
(6) Remove the covers (7).
(7) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5) and (4).
(8) Lift the sidewall panel (1) to release the yo-yo rollers from the brackets and remov
e the sidewall panel (1).

B. Removal of a 2-Frame Sidewall Panel that has a Seal

(1) Record the location of the sidewall panel (1) that you want to remove.
(2) Pull the lining strips (2) that are between the sidewall panel (1) and the adjacent
panels down and out.
(3) Push the nose below the gap-cover (5) and pull the gap-cover (5) up to remove it.
(4) Remove the screws (4) and the washers (3).
(5) Lift the sidewall panel (1) to release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remov
e the sidewall panel (1).

(b) Twist the decor-ring (8) until the snap guide (upper left) is released and ma

(e) Pull the decor-ring (8) up and remove it.

(2) Pull the lining strip (2) down and out from between the sidewall-panel (1) and the
adjacent panels.
(3) Push the nose below the gap-cover (5) and pull the gap-cover (5) up to remove it.
(4) Remove the caps (3) and the screws (4).
(5) Lift the sidewall-panel (1), release the yo-yo roller from the brackets and remove i
t.

E. Removal of the Decor-Ring from the Over Wing Emergency exits (OWE)

(1) Hold the decor-ring on the upper left side with your fingers.
(2) Twist the decor-ring until the snap guide (upper left) is released.
(3) Hold the decor-ring on the upper middle side with your fingers.
(4) Twist the decor-ring until the snap guide (upper middle) is released. At the same ti
me push the decor-ring a small distance up, to prevent the snap guide (upper left)
to lock back to initial position.
