Listening. Section a, short dialogues. In this section of the test, you will hear
short conversations between a man and a woman. After each conversation, you will
hear a question. Answer the question by choosing the option that corresponds to the
best answer for the question.
Here's an example. In the recording you'll hear I know our boss likes to have
dinner in this restaurant, but I just don't care for the menu. Neither do I. What
does the man mean? In the recording, you can hear that the man shares the the
woman's opinion on a subject.
Therefore, the correct answer is he agrees with the woman. Now, start working on
listening. Section a, short dialogues. Number 1. For breakfast, we can have peanut
butter toast sandwich or bacon and buttered toast.

and move on to the next section. Listening. Section b, minimal pairs. In this
section of the test, you can see a sentence with 1 or 2 missing words, marked by a
pair of brackets.
The sentence will be read out loud. Determine which words as or are pronounced by
choosing from the list of words given for each number. Listen to an example. The
professor told us to remove the clot on the ceilings. In the example, you can hear
that the woman said clot, c l o t.

expression of no more than 2 sentences. Key in what the speaker said on the field
provided in the form. Marks will be awarded for answers with correct spelling and
proper use of punctuation.
Type your answers in block letters only. Listen to an example. This is Buddy's
mother. In the example, you hear that the speaker said this is Buddy's mother.

No mark will be awarded for partially correct answer. Now, start working on
