Pre Placement / Grooming Activities Objective :-To Create awareness of what the industry wants i.e. employability criteria and to groom students accordingly. To promote Industry-Institution interaction in the form of live projects, guest lectures and corporate interaction / industrial visit. Campus Recruitment Programme


Purpose: To establish and maintain procedure of conducting campus interview to ensure placements are carried out as per requirement of recruiting organization. Procedure:
1. Generate enquiry regarding placement requirement through one or more of the following

means. E-mail, Phones / Personal Visit to organizations / Visit of organizations representatives to institutes / Alumni support.
2. Review the Requirement with concerned organization and finalize following: Date of

Interview / Venue and Time / Mode of Interview / No. of students required / Mode of selection of students 3. Students for the Interview shall be selected based on the following by either Institute or Organization details as desired to be communicated to recruiting organization, Marks obtained in MBA-I and III Marks obtained in written test / G.D. conducted by recruiting organization Project work carried out by students
4. Communicate details of interview to the students by following: Phone / E-Mail / Notice.

5. Ensure that interviews shall be held on specified date and time. 6. After conducting Interviews / Tests, Final results shall be declared and inform to all selected candidates. 7. Appointment letter of selected candidates to be obtained from recruiting organization by TPO. 8. Facilitate students from institute.

Summer placement Activities


Objective: The summer internship programme of 8-10 weeks aims to widen the student's perspective by providing an exposure to real life organizations and environmental situations. This in turn helps organizations to build a long term relationship with the students community. The summer intern serves as unofficial spokesman of the organization and helps in image building on campus. Procedure: 1. Prepare list of organizations for project with relevant specialization 2. Work out proposed projects for students in consultation with concerned faculty 3. Contact different organization by phone / mail / letter 4. Finalize topic and organization and prepare final list of student project placement

5. Finalize guide as per project specialization 6. Building relationship for lateral recruitment process. Nidhi Singh
