Orientation to Learners on Disaster Preparedness
I. Introduction
II. Objectives
To raise awareness among learners about potential hazards and risks within and around their
school and community.
To teach students basic safety procedures and emergency response skills.
To promote a culture of safety and responsibility among learners.
To empower students to participate in disaster preparedness activities and to advocate for
safety within their school and community.
A. Orientation Sessions
Date: September 10, 2023
Participants: 185 learners
Grade Levels: Kinder-Grade 6
Topics Covered: Safety Procedures During Emergencies
(fire drills and first aid scenarios)
Presentation Methods: Role-playing exercises.
