Speech On Education

The superintendent gave a speech to principals, teachers, students, and parents from three districts about the K-12 education program. The K-12 program aims to improve the quality of education in the Philippines so that graduates can find jobs more easily and meet global standards. It requires two additional years of schooling. For the program to succeed, educators must play their role, parents and students must participate, taxpayers must pay more in taxes, and Congress must support it through funding. Everyone has a part to play for the new education system to be successful.

A pleasant Afternoon, To All of the principals in three districts, teachers in in different subject areas, High School Students and elementary pupils and parents.

As we all know, Education is the primary and ultimate objective of any individual As regards to what he would be in the future. Deep preparation is needed so we can

Reach the goal of success. What is K-12 program of education? It has been initiated by the Aquino administration where students will have to undergo a new system of education.This program will require all incoming students to enroll into two more years of basic education. Thus, the K+12 System will basically include the Universal kindergarten, 6 years of elementary,4 years of junior high school with an additional 2 years for senior high school.

Moreover, the program aims to uplift the quality of education in the Philippines in order for graduates to be easily employed. The program also aims to meet the standards required for professionals who would want to work abroad.

Our government, as far as education is concerned , aims to improve the system of education thru our education secretary Honorable Armin Luistro. He has launched K-12 program in order that learning be more meaningful , reproductive and globally competitive but this means additional fund on its implementation .We have to be cooperative , pay our taxes so that funds may support the program. Everybody will be supporting if we want this a success. Additional classrooms , teachers, textbook, plus other needs . Now , my dear principals , students, and pupils Whats your part in this program as an educator? The role of the parents ? pupils and students as an implementor? Tax payers? The house of congress? House of senate? Everybody has each part and should do his part.

Lets pray that this program be a total success thru you.
