The integrated degree is a modern approach to legal education, In this course, a student covers two courses under one academic program, one in arts and the other in law. In this course, the initial 2 years of study comprise of subjects related to BA and the subsequent 3 years deal with subjects related to Law. Faculty members and staff at SMKCL are well experienced and committed towards their work. Our Campus environment has been designed for holistic development of students. The College has created a balanced course structure with a fine combination of curricular schedule and co-curricular activities. The College aims towards shaping the students into skilled and hard working professionals.Course Structure B.A.LLB, isa 5-year integrated course in the field oflaw, Each academic year is divided in two semesters. The odd semesters span from July to December and the even semesters span from January to June. There are total 10 semestersin 5-Years and 5 subjects in each semester. A A \ Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent examination with atleast + 45% marks in aggregate for General Category + 42%marks in aggregate for OBC Category + 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category LLB. ‘The course curriculum of LLB. is purely based on Law subjects. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of law, and itis interlaced with assignments. Mostly, professionals who aspire to work in the judiciary, litigation, civil services or academic department pursue this course. Course Structure LLB. isa 3-year course. Each academic year is divided in two semesters. The odd semesters span from July to December and the even semesters span from January to June. There are total 6 semesters in 3 years and Ssubjectsin each semester, Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have passed Graduation/Post Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University, withatleast + 45% marksin aggregate for General Category + 42%marksin aggregate for OBC Category * 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category NOTE: 1. Candidates appearing/appeared for the annual examination in March/April and those appearing in semester examinations in May-June are also eligible to apply. 2. No Age Limit. 3. After completing BA.LLB./LLB, students have opportunities in Judicial Services, Government Agencies or Private Law Firms. They can also serve as Criminal Lawyers, Corporate Lawyers, Legal Journalists, Legal Analysts, Civil Lawyers, and Legal Advisor, etc. Fee Structure: + The Tuition feeisRs,35,000/- per year for LLB./B.A.LLB. Course. + University examination fee would be paid by candidate on actual basis, at the time of filling of their examination form.
