1. Based on your experiences how can you define teacher?

• The field of education sparks my interest and it is the field I would love to be working in, in the near
future. The role of a teacher is a very important one and is one that is not suited for everyone. A teacher
needs to respect students, create a sense of community and belonging in the classroom, be warm,
accessible, enthusiastic, and caring.

2. Why did you choose to become a teacher?

• Ever since I was in high school, I enjoyed attending classes as well as helping out my peers with their
studies. As an adult, I realized how much of an impact teachers can have on students’ lives. Seeing the
positive influence that educators had on their students made me want to become part of it too.

3. Give at least 5 qualities of a good teacher. Explain your answers.

• Lifelong learner - Teachers cherish the idea that learning never ends. They should also explain what
they are learning to their colleagues and students in an extremely professional manner.

• Critical thinker - Teachers model critical thinking by encouraging students to reflect on what they've
learned and establish their own perspectives.

• Passionate - Teachers must be enthusiastic about their work in order to ensure that their students are
motivated to learn under their supervision and care.

• Multi-literate - Teachers are adept at using a variety of technologies in the classroom.

• Multi-skilled - To address the increased demand for extended learning opportunities, teachers must be
skilled at both group facilitation and activity planning.

4. What are the traits of a 21st Century Teachers? Explain your answers.

• A great instructor may instill a love of learning while also sparking optimism and ingenuity. Teachers in
the twenty-first century, like Brand Henry, must evaluate their pupils' needs and assist them prepare for
new challenges. Teachers are regarded to have complicated and difficult occupations.
