1. Activity 1
a. Teacher states today’s objectives in front of the class.
b. Teacher explains today’s objectives to the students.
c. Teacher tells students what happened to him last
Saturday.
d. Teacher asks for volunteers to share any special events
that have happened to them.
PRE-LESSON
ACTIVITIES

e. Teacher asks students when their event happened so it


can force them to use past time expressions.
f. Teacher introduces the concept of past time
expressions.
g. Teacher shows some past time expressions using a
projector.
h. Teacher explains that these are words and phrases we
use to talk about when an event or action happened in
the past.
1. Activity 1
a. Teacher shows students a slide about past time
expression.
b. Teacher gives students a note for past time expression.
c. Teacher shows some sentences using “Yesterday,Last,
and Ago”
d. Teacher circles past tense verbs that indicate the event
has already happened.
e. Teacher explains how to use past time expression
correctly.
f. Teacher asks all students to contruct 5 simple sentences

using past time expression in their exercise book.


g. Teacher asks volunteers to share their sentences in front
of the class.
h. Teacher discusses their answers in class.
i. Teacher rewards volunteers.

2. Activity 2 – Quizizz
a. Teacher prepares each student with a laptop.
b. Teacher asks students to join the right quiz.
c. Teacher explains that the quiz is about past time
expression.
d. Teacher explains that students need to choose the
correct past time expressions.
e. Teacher asks students to do the quiz.
f. Teacher shows the statistics of the quiz in front of the
class using a projector.
g. Teacher rewards the top 3 winners of the quiz.

1. Activity 1 – wheel of names


a. Teacher connects his laptop to the projector.
b. Teacher explains to the students that he will play a
game of wheel of name.
c. Teacher asks chosen students to construct simple
sentences using the teacher’s laptop.
POST-LESSON

d. Teacher asks the whole class to read their friend’s


answer aloud.
e. Teacher discusses the answers in class.
f. Teacher rewards students who answer it correctly.
