I. Purpose:

This handbook serves as a comprehensive guide to national entrance exams, offering essential details

II. Scope:

III. How to use this Module:

3. COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST (CLAT)

2.Candidates who have passed in 10+2 or an equivalent examination


with a minimum of:
i) Forty five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent in grade or
ii) Forty Percent (40%) of marks or equivalent in case of candidates
belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories.
3.Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/ April,
2025 are also eligible to apply. However, they shall be required to
produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time
of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered
for admission.
4.The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be
submitted by the candidate at the time of admission, failing which the
candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the course they may have
applied for.
5.If more than one candidate secures an equal number of marks in the
CLAT 2025, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and
order as under:
i) Higher marks in the component/section on Legal Aptitude in the
CLAT 2025 exam;
ii) Higher age; Computerised draw of lots.

An important aspect of the test is the creative and innovative use of
colour and illustration skills.

Situation Test
Shortlisted candidates for B.Des after the entrance examination are
required to take a Situation Test. The candidate will be asked to make a
model. The model will be evaluated on space visualisation, innovative
and creative use of given material, composition of elements, colour
scheme, construction skill, finesse of the model and overall

6. Medical certificate requirement for eyesight:


There shall be no evidence of any morbid condition of either eye or of
the lids of either eye which may be liable to risk of aggravation or
recurrence. Candidates must possess good binocular vision (Fusion
faculty and full field of vision in both eyes). Movement of the eyeballs
must be full in all directions and the pupils should react normally to
light and accommodation. Normal colour vision shall be tested by
Ishihara Test Chart. Distance Vision unaided 0.5*(6/12) in each eye or
0.67*(6/9) in better eye and 0.33*(6/18) in the other eye. At the time of
admission, candidates will be required to produce the certificate of
medical fitness issued by doctors approved by the Directorate General
of Shipping.

Eligibility Criteria (Given by B.Sc.B.Ed. Four Year Integrated


Exam conducting agency) • Candidates seeking admission to Physical Science Group must have
passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) (M stands
for Mathematics or Statistics) and those seeking admission to
Biological Science Group (CBZ) must have passed Physics,
Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) (B stands for Biology or
Biotechnology) at +2 level.
• Candidates must have passed +2 / Hr. Sec./ Sr. Sec. or any equivalent
examination recognized by University/ Board with at least 50% marks
in overall aggregate of qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% marks
for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). The qualifying examination should be
recognized by the affiliating universities of the RIEs.
• Candidates who have passed +2/Hr. Sec./Sr. Sec. or any equivalent
examination in 2022, 2023 and appearing/ appeared in 2024 only will
be considered.

B.A.B.Ed. Four Year Integrated


• Candidates must have passed +2/ Hr. Secondary/ Sr. Secondary or
equivalent examination in Science and Commerce streams or in Arts
streams with at least 50% marks in aggregate (relaxation of 5% marks
for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) in 2022, 2023 and appearing/ appeared in
2024 only will be considered.
