Materials:
Yarn: red, orange, yellow, blue, green
f crochet hook Legs (begin with red) make 2
Tapestry needle Round 1: mr sc 6 – 6 sts
Fiberfill stuffing Round 2: inc x 6 – 12 sts cc orange
9mm safety eyes Round 3: sc around – 12 sts cc to green
Stitch marker Round 4: (sc, dec) x 4 – 8 sts
Round 5-9: sc around – 8 sts (5 rounds)
Abbreviations:
Fasten off, leave tail for sewing.
ch – chain
mr – magic ring
Eyes (begin with yellow) make 2
sc- single crochet
Round 1: ch 2, sc 6 in 2nd chain from hook cc orange
hdc – half double crochet
Round 2: inc x 6 – 12 sts cc blue
dc – double crochet
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6 – 18 sts
inc – 2 sc in one stitch
Round 4: ch 6, turn
dec – sc two stitches together
Round 5: (working back down the ch 6) sl in 2nd chain
sl st – slip stitch
from hook, sc, hdc, hdc, dc
cc – color change
Skip next stitch on main part of eye and sl st into next
sts - stitches stitch.
Fasten off, leave tail for sewing.
Place safety eye in center of yellow portion, snap into
place.

Round 3-5: sc 10, ch 1, turn
Round 14-16: sc around – 30 sts (3 rounds)
Fold spike in half long ways and sl st along the top to
Round 17: (sc 13, dec) x 2 -28 sts sew spike closed. Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing
Round 18: (sc 11, dec) x 2, dec – 24 sts and weave in starting tail.

Round 19: (sc 2, dec) x 6 – 18 sts Spike 4

Round 20: (sc, dec) x 6 – 12 sts Round 1: chain 5

Round 21: dec x 6 – 6 sts Round 2: sc 2nd chain from hook, repeat 3 times- 4 sts

Fasten off, use tail to seal. Round 3-5: sc 4, ch 1, turn
