POMS MES

Technical/Functional Skills Priority 1: Experience in MFG IT from life science

Priority 2: Experience MES from life science


 Hands on experience of any of MES application, preferably POMS /SAMS / Simatic IT EBR,
 Must have MES configuration & development experience.
 Work Order management, batch management, label printing, material consumption, bill of materials,

audit trail and historian, training management, resource management


 Hands on experience on database like SQL, ORACLE server
 MES Production support
 Candidate should have knowledge of Recipe manager, Security Administrator, Manage Order, Recipe

Application Developer modules.


 Having hands on knowledge on the POMS system administration. Includes database maintenance, config-

uration manager, Barcode label configuration.


 Candidate should have strong knowledge of having detailed knowledge on POMS specification manage-

ment includes material model, equipment model, process model.


 Candidate should have knowledge on user management in POMS and managing security administrator

groups and objectives.


 Need to coordinate with teams from different time zones and ensure issues are resolved.
 Candidate should have knowledge on preparation and revision of BOM, BOE.
 Creation/ designing the recipes in poms to the total fill-finish line from dispensing to packing and ensure

successful execution on the shop floor.

Good to have:
 Experience in .Net framework or Java technology
 Good knowledge on Object Oriented technology
 PAL (poms action language)

Experience Required 8-10 Years

Roles & Responsibilities  Managing the MES applications


 Handle L2/L3 support incidents (user service requests, system issues, bug fixes, data fixes,

enhancements)
 Understanding MES application, analyzing production issues & providing the solution.
 Follow ITIL framework for service delivery.
 Monitor Service Now and assign tickets to self from the queue.
 Coordinate with other team-members globally to support application that are in scope.
 Work on change requests and problem management.
 MES configuration Master data creation, updates

Generic Managerial Skills  Must have very good written and verbal communication skill
 Must be self-motivated and pro-active.
 Able to work with demanding customers.
 Must be good team player
